UP Police Result Declared: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) today, March 13, has declared the results for the Direct Recruitment 2023 for the posts of Constable Civil Police. The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment 2023 result is available at the official website — uppbpb.gov.in. In addition to the result, the board has also issued the cut-off marks.
The recruitment process, which aimed to fill 60,244 posts, was taken by as many as 48,17,441 candidates registering for the exam. In the event of two or more candidates scoring equal marks, their merit has been decided under the rules of tie-break in the order of preferential qualification, higher age and first letter of the name (according to the English alphabet).

The written examination was conducted across 67 districts in Uttar Pradesh in 10 shifts on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024. Given the multiple shifts, the marks are normalized and on the basis of the normalised scores and the reservation provisions of the state, a merit list was prepared, and approximately 2.5 times the category-wise advertised posts, a total of 1,74,317 candidates, have been shortlisted for the next stage. These candidates were called for document verification and the Physical Standard Test (PST) between December 26, 2024, and February 7, 2025. The result declared today is after considering the verification and PST process.
The Board has not prepared any waiting list for this recruitment cycle. UPPRPB will announce the next steps of the selection process in due course.
According to the UP Police Constable result statement, this selection result will be subject to the medical examination of the candidate conducted by the appointing authority and his/her educational qualification, reservation related certificates and character verification.
