NEET UG 2024 Stray round: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on October 25 started the choice locking facility for the NEET UG stray vacancy round 2024. Candidates were able to fill in choices and lock their options in the order of preference by 8 am on October 26. Medical aspirants who haven’t got any college have the last chance to get a medical seat.
Eligible candidates have to register and lock the choice at — mcc.nic.in for the NEET UG stray round. This is likely to be the last round of the NEET counselling this year for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses. According to MCC, 1,184 seats are vacant for the stray vacancy round.
As per the NEET UG counseling schedule, the seat allotment results for 2024 will be announced on October 29, after processing the allocation from October 26 to 28. Candidates are advised to approach the allotted college or institute only after the declaration of the final result and only after downloading the allotment letter from the MCC website.
In case a candidate does not accept the seat given by the Committee he or she will be debarred from the NEET examination for the next session. The Committee will also forfeiture the fees submitted by the candidate.
The MCC NEET counselling 2024 stray round result will be declared for the admission to 15 per cent seats in all government medical and dental colleges and 100 per cent seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER seats.
