Local municipal bodies and corporates coming together in a collaborative way will make more cities liveable and align with the mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, said Krishnan Komandur, CEO of Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative.

He was recently speaking at CSR Impact Leaders Roundtable 2023.

“Our initiative is driven by passion with committed waste warriors (employees), volunteers, youth and citizens who are a part of the impact creation,” said Komandur.

Komandur added, “The true value of co-creation can be maximised using technology and public-private cooperation. It’s been an exciting experience interacting with other social champions and learning more about how Metta Social is facilitating the industry with the knowledge to bring in a socially good ecosystem.”

The theme for the roundtable was ‘Transformation pivots for CSR Strategy 2023 – Value Co-creation, Scalability and Impact’.

Iftekhar Pathan, co-founder and president, Strategy and Partnerships at Metta Social, said, “Our focus on capturing the transformation pivots for impactful CSR Strategies encompassed four pillars – Strategy to Communications, Digitisation and Transparency, Collaboration and Value Co-Creation and Employee Engagement. An extremely successful implementation of Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative findings and on-ground implementation knowledge-sharing has been of immense value to the Metta Social community of users.”
