15 trains cancelled,many delayed

Central Railway trains were disrupted for over two hours on Friday evening after the pantograph of a local train was entangled in the overhead equipment wire between Matunga and Sion.

Central Railway trains were disrupted for over two hours on Friday evening after the pantograph of a local train was entangled in the overhead equipment wire between Matunga and Sion. As many as 15 trains were cancelled while others were delayed by 20 to 30 minutes. Services were restored at 6.15 pm. During the restoration work,trains on down slow track were diverted on fast down line and 15 trains were cancelled, V Malegaonkar,Chief Public Relations Officer,CR said.
