Two Iranian nationals have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs like MDMA to students and IT professionals in Bengaluru.
The accused persons have been identified as Ali Bowravh, 31 and Poyan Meharabi, 27, residents of Kalyananagar in East Bengaluru and natives of Iran.
Police said that they seized 2.13 kg of marijuana and 24 grams of MDMA powder from the accused.

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police said they arrested the duo after they recieved information that two foriegn nationals were selling drugs at a junction in the HRBR Layout near Banasawadi.
The police investigation has revealed that Bowravh came to India in 2008 on a student visa to study B.Pharma at a college in Mysore.
He however failed to complete his education and stayed on in the country.
Similarly his accomplice Meharabi too came to India on a student visa in 2012 to study tourism but discontinued his education.
The police investigation has revealed that the accused persons obtained their supplies of narcotics in Goa.
The accused duo used to sell one gram and half a gram packets of MDMA for Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 each in Bengaluru police said.
They were also selling 50 gram marijuana packets for Rs 500, police said.
