Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, whose latest release Jawan is breaking box office records every day, was left impressed by a little girl singing songs from the film as he responded to her video on X.
The girl’s father, Rohit Posina, had posted the video on X on Thursday. He said his daughter Aahna had learnt the songs from Jawan in an hour and sang it for the actor. Her father had also promised her that he would take her to see Jawan in a theatre again if SRK responded. The girl’s love for SRK is evident from the posters of the actor in her room.
“Hi Shahrukh sir @iamsrk my daughter Aahna learned these songs from Jawan in 1 hr and sang for you and now waiting for your reply since 10 days. It was also her wish to Ganesha after the puja. Hope her prayers get answered. She absolutely adores u..proof those posters in her room,” the man wrote.
SRK responded to the video on Friday and told Aahna to tell her dad to book their tickets immediately as he loved both the songs that she sang, ‘Chaleya’ and the rap. He also requested her to sing ‘Zinda Banda’ next.
“Thank you so much for sharing dear Shah Rukh oh she is really talented,” a user commented. “Awesome kid, for the next generation of singers,” said another.
The actor recently commented on a video of two women dancing to the song ‘Chaleya’ from the film on Brooklyn Bridge in New York. As the two women from India were dancing to the song on Brooklyn Bridge, they were joined by strangers as well who seemed impressed by their choreography. The clip was originally shared on Instagram by Samadnya K, a dancer and entertainer according to her bio.
