There was THE DRESS. Then there was THE BAG, which was famous, but not quite as famous as the dress. And then there were the T-shirt and flip-flops. All of these items shook the Internet as everyone debated for hours and days on what colours could they see. Well, here’s yet another fashion item that has gripped the Internet in a bid to test your eyesight. This time, it’s shoes.
A Vans shoes has the Netizens debating yet again on what colours do they see. Is it Pink and White or Teal and Grey? The image reportedly was first shared by Facebook user Nicole Coulthard, who shared it with the caption: “[S]o my friend has just sent me this asking what color the shoe is, I would say pale pink and white, but she insists its pale blue and grey” on a group called GIRLSMOUTH.
For many the reaction was more on the lines of “we’re not going to go through this again” (and we would love to agree), while others happily (or otherwise) gave their inputs. Soon, the battle spilled over to Twitter as well, with people sharing the image with the colours of their choice and interpretation.
As was the case with the previous colour debates, it all depends on how the photograph of the shoe was shot and the lighting conditions. But, nevertheless, it still gives us enough fodder to engage in some healthy banter.
