Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s fast bowler, is being praised by many on social media for a gesture he made to console a boy, a fan of the team’s captain Babar Azam. Shah noticed a boy upset about not getting Azam’s autograph. He consoled the boy saying he will autograph on behalf of Azam as well. The incident was captured on camera and the video is now viral.
In the video, Babar Azam can be seen interacting with a few young fans and entering a lift, disappointing the boys waiting for his autograph. Shah, who happens to get there, notices one of the boys tearing up over missing the chance to get Azam’s autographs. Seeing this, Shah not only gave him his autograph but also made a cute gesture of signing on behalf of Azam.
The kid, still trying to take it all in, asked Naseem, “Yeh Babar Azam ka hai? (Is this Babar Azam’s?).” With a reassuring smile, Naseem replied, “Haan, yeh Babar Azam ka hi hai (Yes, this is Babar Azam’s).”
