The challenge includes taking a bowl of ramen outside in sub-zero weather so that the forkful of ramen freezes in mid-air like a work of art.

Amid a frigid cold front in Grand Prairie, Alberta, a mother and her son embarked on an experiment on January 13 involving a steaming bowl of ramen noodles exposed to sub-zero temperatures, a video of which had gone viral.

This challenge has taken the online world by storm, leaving many wonder what makes this experiment so captivating.

The videos kick off by obtaining a pack of ramen noodles. Following the conventional cooking process, the person takes the bowl of ramen outdoors and, with the aid of chopsticks or a fork, lifts a generous portion of ramen into the air and then attempts to make it stand or pose with the assistance of a dumbbell, jar, or any heavy object.

The video shared on @weathernetwork on Instagram has amassed over 2,700 likes, with online users expressing their awe and disbelief.

One user commented, “Cool! Makes for a great photo!” Another remarked, “Canadian art.” A third user, utterly shocked, wrote, “I saw that on the news yesterday! That’s pretty unreal.”
