These gentle, playful creatures are winning over netizens with their charm, and the latest video shared by the popular X account, Nature Is Amazing, is a prime example.
In the heartwarming clip, a man is seen riding an elephant along a road while a baby elephant joyfully strolls besides them. Midway, the curious calf notices a small roadside shop and promptly takes a detour. Walking up to the vendor, the baby elephant adorably gestures for some watermelon. The woman behind the stall obliges, handing over slices of watermelon which the little one eagerly picks up with its trunk. Moments later, the adult elephant–likely the baby’s parent–also ambles over to grab a bite, joining in on the refreshing treat.
The video feels like a gentle short story–one that beautifully captures the bond between animals and humans. Unsurprisingly, it has struck a chord with millions online, amassing over two million views and counting.

In another touching clip that recently made the rounds, a man is seen watering plants when a mother elephant and her calf approach. The thirsty baby walks up to him, gently nudging for water. In response, the man directs the hose toward the calf, letting it drink.
What happened next warmed hearts across the internet: the mother elephant, standing a few feet away, raises her trunk high in what appeared to be a gesture of gratitude. The quiet exchange left viewers awestruck, a beautiful reminder of how deeply animals can feel and express emotion.
