Getting a ticket to your idol’s sold-out show is a dream come true, but what if you could manage without a ticket?
A viral video showing more than 40,000 fans crowding the Olympic Hill in Munich to listen to Taylor Swift at The Eras Tour is making headlines now.
The crowd was there for shows on Saturday and Sunday. This hill, also known as Olympiaberg, one of the highest in the city, offers a perfect view of the open-air stadium.
According to a report by the Associated Press, despite 31 degree Celsius temperature, swifties claimed their spots on the hill. On Saturday, there were around 25,000 in attendance while on Sunday, many returned with others to enjoy the concert again.
The concert organisers, on being notified, did not discourage them and handed out bottles of water and blankets to protect them from the heat.

Reacting to the video, one user said, “All the financially responsible swifties in one place.”
A second user wrote, “Not my music but when a huge crowd of people sing along together it’s always a real goosebumps moment.” We were in the stadium 😍 Dear Olympiaberg fans, we looked over at you so many times. Your sea of lights was a magical sight to see. You were out of the way, but still part of the experience!”
Later, in an Instagram post, Swift shared her thoughts on the same, garnering over 3.7 million views. “What a magical experience it was playing in Munich… The crowds of 74,000 people a night in the stadium were so passionate, and so generous to us. And I had no idea before I got to Munich that there’s a huge park behind the stadium, but around 50,000 people came out and listened to the show from the hillside both nights. I’ve been watching so many videos of the crowds out there fully participating in the show from afar,” she wrote.
She concluded her post by saying that she’s very appreciative for the unexpected memories this tour has provided. She also said that she has 11 gigs left on the European part of the tour and is set to begin August with three shows in Warsaw.
