Azharuddin on 98

An Impeccable unbeaten 98 by Mohammad Azharuddin and his 159-run partnership for the second wicket with opener K Srikanth (84) steered India to a comfortable 228 for three in their first innings at stumps on the opening day of the fifth Test against England. Azharuddin is on the verge of cracking his third consecutive Test century since his debut in the current series in Calcutta. If he does so, he will be the first man in Test cricket history to have achieved this feat.
