‘My standards go lower than my heels when I meet someone’: RJ Mahvash says that she is ‘dumb in love’

RJ Mahvash is rumoured to be dating cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She, however, has said that she is single.

Social media personality RJ Mahvash is currently making a transition into acting through a new web series, Pyaar Paisa Profit. She will be seen alongside The Archies (2023) actor, Mihir Ahuja, and the show will also feature Ashish Raghav, Pratik Yadav, Shivangi Khedkar and Neil Bhoopalam. While promoting her new show, Mahvash talked about her love life and the kinds of choices she makes while looking for a partner.

Mahvash told Radio Nasha that just like her character in the series, she doesn’t always make the right decisions when it comes to love. “Just like my character in the series, I am dumb in love, but I also avoid red flags. My standards go below my heels when I meet the person; before that, they’re very high.” She added that in reality, people should be ‘dumb in love’, and you don’t need to think very deeply while falling in love with someone.

Mahvash, who is a well-known content creator, found space in tabloids across the country when she was sighted alongside cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, watching a match. Back then, Chahal was going through his divorce with Dhanashree Verma, and this fuelled the dating rumours between Mahvash and the cricketer even more. Both personalities, however, denied this claim and said that they were just good friends. The rumours picked up some steam again when Mahvash took to Instagram to congratulate Chahal on securing a hat-trick in an IPL match. The caption of the story read, “God mode on kyaaa? @yuzi_chahal23 strength of a warrior, sir (salute emoji).”

Earlier, Mahvash made an appearance on Yuvaa’s YouTube channel and addressed her love life, saying that she does not relate with the dating practices of today. “I’m very single and happy. I don’t understand the current concept of marriage, and I am someone who would only date someone when I want to marry that person, so I don’t go out on casual dates. Just like Ali in Dhoom, I start imagining kids and the future.”

Among all the rumours and speculations about her personal life, her life on the professional front seems to be going just fine. Apart from Pyaar Paisa Profit, she has also been listed as a producer for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s delayed project Section 108.
