Ravanasura trailer: Ravi Teja plays an anti-hero in Sudheer Varma’s action-drama

Directed by Sudheer Varma, Ravanasura also stars Anu Emmanuel and Megha Akash in key roles.

The trailer of Telugu film Ravanasura is out. The tw0-minute-long promo has the typical racy edits of the fight sequences. It slows down when it wants to show some glimpses of romance or humour, then again it picks up pace, and ends with a heroic image of the star of the film, Ravi Teja.

There are only a few things that can be deducted from the trailer. Teja plays the role of a lawyer, who seems to be a jolly person, but things are not what it seems. Towards the end of the promo, he is also seen as this violent guy, who calls his murders a form of art.

With such a trailer one can never be sure which version of the hero to believe. Perhaps, the last frame of the trailer which juxtaposes Ravi Teja’s face with the face of Phoenix Joaquin’s Joker is telling of the kind of film Ravanasura aspires to be.

Directed by Sudheer Varma, who has also written the screenplay, the film also stars Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Faria Abdullah and Megha Akash. The music of the movie has been composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo.

Ravanasura is produced by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja under Abhishek Pictures & RT Team Works Banners. The film will be released on April 7 across the world.
