Actor Rashmika Mandanna recently got mobbed by a crowd of fans as she was making her way outside the venue post attending a song launch event in Hyderabad for the upcoming Telugu movie Baby. The actor looked slightly taken aback with the ruckus around her as she exited the premise, surrounded by a bunch of security personnel.
As fans jostled each other to take a selfie with the actor, one young girl managed to break through the security cicle as she requested for a photo. Rashmika obliged her as the fan looked happy that the artiste had stopped for her. The actor was heard saying “fast, fast, fast” as they both tried to click the snap.
Some netizens were upset with the security men as they thought they were unnecessarily manhandling innocent and excited fans. One user wrote, “this guys is bouncer behaviour.” Another wondered what do people get out of clicking selfies with actors and mentioned in a comment, “I really don’t understand what difference it makes to your life by taking selfie with celebrities.”
Rashmika was in the city to promote Telugu flick Baby, which stars Anand Deverakonda and Viraj Ashwin. For the unversed, Anand is the younger sibling of actor Vijay Deverakonda. Rashmika is looking forward to the release of the Ranbir Kapoor feature Animal, which also stars Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. It is aiming for a year-end release.
Rashmika was last seen in the Netflix movie Mission Majnu, alongside Sidharth Malhotra, which had received largely negative reviews.
