Bigg Boss Telugu 3 winner and the singer of the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu from RRR, Rahul Sipligunj, got engaged to Harinya Reddy, on August 17. On Tuesday, the couple dropped the first official photos from their intimate engagement ceremony, on social media.
The event was attended by their close friends and family. Before revealing the pictures of the occasion themselves officially, several moments were already doing rounds on the internet. Taking to his Instagram handle, Rahul shared adorable photos from his engagement and wrote in the caption, “Forever. Our new beginning.”
In the snaps, Rahul can be seen holding Harinya close, kissing her hand and is very elated to be with each other. In one of the pictures, the singer did a romantic gesture by kneeling down on one knee to put the ring on his fiancee’s finger. His fans and friends from the entertainment industry, including Roll Rida, Ram Miriyala, Noel Sean and others, dropped congratulatory comments under the post.

Rahul and Harinya looked amazing on their big day, in contrasting ethnic outfits. While the groom-to-be wore a pastel lavender Indo-western attire, Harinya, on the other hand, stunned in a beautiful orange lehenga. Many fans expressed their excitement about the couple’s wedding day in the comments section, but the details are yet to be disclosed.
Rahul Sipligunj, who was born and brought up in Hyderabad, started his career in 2009 and gained a lot of popularity as an indie artist, who made Telugu music videos. He was soon signed to sing in films in the same year. He voiced College Bulloda for the Naga Chaitanya-starrer Josh. In the past years, he has sung many successful songs, such as Singareni Undi, Prema Katha Chitram, Pedda Puli, Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana and many more.
But, a turning point for his career was singing Naatu Naatu in SS Rajamouli’s Oscar-winning film RRR, which he sang with Kaala Bhairava. After the track won an Academy award, the Telangana government honoured him with a Rs 1 crore award. Besides singing, he took part in Season 3 of Bigg Boss Telugu, and won the reality show. He is also one of the judges on Super Singer 3, and marked his acting debut in Rangamarthanda in 2023.
