With the makers of Game Changer finally announcing that the Ram Charan-Shankar film is set to hit the screens for Sankranti 2025, the hype train has started picking up pace. After multiple delays and long periods of uncertainty, it was officially announced that Game Changer is set to be released on January 10, 2025. With the release date finalised, the makers have started the promotions for the film.
After launching the teaser of the film in a much-publicised event in Lucknow, they have now released the third single from Game Changer. Titled “NaaNaa Hyraanaa”, the song by Thaman S is sung by Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal. Written by Ramajogayya Sastry, the lyrical video promises to be everything that Shankar is known for.
Here’s the lyric video:
We can see the money spent on getting the best of locations for the romantic number picturised on Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. The melodious number seems to have caught the attention of many as it is completely in contrast with the other two songs that have been released from the Game Changer album.
It hasn’t been a smooth ride for Game Changer, which was subject to multiple delays in shooting right from the time it went on floors in 2021. Game Changer marks Shankar’s first-ever direct Telugu film, and it is made of a script from ace filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj.
Incidentally, the busy schedules of Shankar, who was simultaneously concentrating on Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, and Ram Charan, who was on the RRR promotions bandwagon, almost brought to Game Changer to a halt. However, as they say, all is well that ends well for team Game Changer as the film is definitely on track for a January release.
With dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra, and cinematography by Tirru, Game Changer marks the maiden collaboration between Shankar and Thaman S. Notably, Thaman was introduced as an actor in Shankar’s Boys.
Apart from Ram Charan and Kiara, Game Changer features a talented ensemble cast, including the likes of Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, and Sushanth.
