In just a week since Shark Tank Season 3 began airing on television, it’s already generating a significant buzz on social media. Recently, a viral video emerged, featuring an edited pitch by contestant Priyasha Saluja. The humorous clip linked boAt’s co-founder, Aman Gupta, romantically with Priyasha, prompting a witty response from Aman, who confessed that the video might get him in trouble with his wife.
The clip was shared by the Instagram handle @edits_d24. It opens to show Saluja making a pitch for her business, The Cinnamon Kitchen. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, Priyasha asked Aman to ease the intensity of his questions, as it was her first time raising funds. She said, “Don’t intimidate me like that.” and smiles.
Taking this moment, the editor linked the two romantically and crafted a hilarious clip with the song “Aaj Se Teri” playing in the background. Impressed by the editor’s talent, Aman asked him to apply for a job in boAt, but at the same time confessed that the clip might land him in trouble with his wife. He wrote in the comments section, “You guys are crazy… 😉… My wife will kill me…. but for sure the edit has come out nice…. Tell the editor to apply for a position in boAt now…. 😎.” Ultimately, Aman offered Rs 60 lakh for a 5% equity stake in The Cinnamon Kitchen, and the deal was struck.
There are 12 judges in Shark Tank Season 3. Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh are the sharks again in the new season. Azhar Iqubal, Deepinder Goyal, Radhika Gupta, Ritesh Agarwal, Ronnie Screwvala and Varun Dua are the new sharks of the season.
