The latest episode of MTV Roadies had a contestant talk about her abusive father, leaving the gang leaders emotional.

Even while a parent’s relationship with kids is supposed to be sacrosanct, many often share strained bonds. A contestant on MTV Roadies Kamrm Ya Kaand spoke about her father during her audition round and even confessed that she prayed for him to die as he was extremely abusive towards his wife and kids.

In a video shared by the channel, gang leader Prince Narula asks the contestant what she meant when she wrote about ‘manifesting’ her father’s death in the form. To this, the young girl said that since childhood, she doesn’t remember a day when her father hasn’t come home drunk, and beaten them up. She added that her father was quite abusive and to escape from the same, she would pray that something happens to him, or her.

Rhea Chakraborty further asked about the contestant raising her hands on her father. She explained that she was just a teenager and she couldn’t see her father hitting her mother every time. One day, she decided to fight for her mother and protect her. She also shared that she had told her father that she would never get him anything from her salary. “The day I got my first cheque, my father breathed his last,” she shared, leaving the gang leaders quite emotional.

While Sonu Sood is the host, Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati are the gang leaders. In an earlier statement, Rhea spoke about being a part of this season of the reality show. “I am thrilled to be a part of MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand, which is an iconic cultural phenomenon. I look forward to working with Sonu Sood and my fellow gang leaders, as I get to showcase my resolute and fearless side during this thrilling journey. I hope to receive love and support from fans for this incredible new adventure!” she said.

The auditions for MTV Roadies 19 happened in Delhi, Indore, Chandigarh and Pune.
