Exclusive: ‘Mannara Chopra is behind Munawar Faruqui,’ says Bigg Boss 17 evicted contestant Rinku Dhawan

Last night two contestants left the Bigg Boss 17 house – Rinku Dhawan and Neil Bhatt. Both of them played the game gracefully, especially Rinku, who tried to be fair and least influenced on the show. Recently, she sat down for a conversation with Indianexpress.com where she said playing with dignity and grace was her plan.

She even added with utter poise, “I tried to be as real as I could be, it was literally like badal gaye hai din, badal gaye jazbaat (the days as well as the feelings have changed) every week.”

Here are some glimpses from Rinku’s journey on Bigg Boss 17:

Rinku Dhawan even shared her thoughts on Munawar Faruqui’s personal life being dragged on the show. She said, “Nobody deserves such kind of a public trial, whether it is Munawar or anybody. We need to be sensitive. Calling out people publicly, and making trash comments is just not right. Munawar’s issue went overboard and was not required.”

Commenting on Mannara Chopra and Ayesha Khan, Rinku added, “Yes, Mannara is behind Munawar. I had told her on the show too that her friendship is only valid till all the boxes get ticked. The moment they don’t, you need to question that friendship. And this means it is one-sided. Ayesha has her own story, and Munawar is not denying it, so I cannot say if she has maligned him. But yes, she chose the wrong time and platform to get a sorry, she could have waited since both agreed that they were in no commitment. Munawar would have returned after the show with the trophy, she could have dealt with it even then.”

While Rinku Dhawan is sure that it will be Munawar who will win the trophy, she strongly speaks about the toxic masculinity existing on the show. “Abhishek’s temper tantrums in the house are not right. And nobody takes a stand for it. Munawar also not dealing with his situation and getting closure is wrong and toxic for himself. Vicky needs to correct the fact that he can play and trample people’s feelings just to get ahead of everybody.”

Rinku even confirmed that both Abhishek and Isha have no scope for reconciliation, in fact, on Vicky and Ankita’s constant bickering she shared, “Vicky and Ankita are both strong personalities, so when they come on this big platform, they will clash.”
