As week one of Bigg Boss OTT 3 came to an end, contestants received unfiltered feedback from host Anil Kapoor. Especially, Lovekesh Kataria and Vishal Pandey were in for some schooling. However, the Weekend Ka Vaar ended on a sad note for the trio of Armaan Malik and his two wives Payal and Kritika. Payal Malik was evicted from the show on Sunday after not receiving enough votes from the audience.
This was the second eviction in the first week of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. Earlier in the week, boxer Neeraj Goyat was eliminated from the show.
As for Payal Malik, her journey began on quite a controversial note. At the show’s grand premiere, when Payal narrated the moment her husband Armaan Malik cheated on her with her best friend Kritika (who is his second wife), she received lots of backlash.
In the week gone by, Payal Malik was also seen having an emotional meltdown when she recalled the day Armaan Malik called her up to inform her about his other marriage to Kritika Malik. Viewers have even pointed out undercurrents in Payal and Kritika’s equation on the show. There have been multiple occasions where the two have taken indirect jibes at one another.
Payal Malik is a YouTube content creator along with Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik. In an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com, Payal spoke about her journey in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house and said that if she could survive her husband’s second marriage, then the show would be a cakewalk for her. “I am made for Bigg Boss house. I can fight, can perform all the tasks and duties, and can play smartly. When I could happily survive my husband’s second marriage, I think I can mentally totally survive the Bigg Boss house. I have seen a lot of people’s lives changing after Bigg Boss. I think if I am able to win the trophy, my life too will change dramatically. I need to win because I have left behind four of my kids for this game. I am here only to win and take the trophy home,” Payal had said.
