Rajinikanth is currently on a spiritual journey.

As part of his annual tradition, Superstar Rajinikanth has embarked on a spiritual journey. Recently, he was spotted sitting outside the Mahavatar Babaji caves in Uttarakhand. Dressed simply in a jacket over a shirt and white pants, with a cap and walking stick in hand, the actor appeared calm and contemplative in photos taken by fans.

A few videos have also surfaced online showing the Coolie actor patiently posing for photographs with fans and listening to their excitement at meeting their idol up close. Rajinikanth can also be seen chatting with them amid the growing crowd. Earlier, the superstar had visited several ashrams with his friends.

Rajinikanth’s spiritual getaway this year started at Rishikesh and Badrinath Dham, before moving on to the Mahavatar Babaji caves.

Earlier, speaking about his spiritual journeys, Rajinikanth told ANI, “Every year I used to get new experience that made me continue my spiritual journey again and again. The whole world needs spirituality, as it’s important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God.”

Rajinikanth will resume filming the remaining schedules of Jailer 2 upon his return from the Himalayas. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is slated for release next June and also stars Ramya Krishna, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shivrajkumar, and Nandamuri Balakrishna. The superstar has also confirmed an upcoming project with Kamal Haasan, to be produced under Raaj Kamal Films International.
