Tamil star R Madhavan, who is with Ajith at the venue, took to social media to express his pride in his friend’s outstanding performance. “So so proud.. what a man. The one and only. Ajith Kumar 🫡🫡🫡,” he posted alongside a clip of him and Ajith holding the Indian flag. Director Adhik Ravichandran also shared a video of Ajith receiving his trophy, writing on Instagram, “You made India proud. We Love u sir. We are all proud of you dear sir.”

Since the race, X has been filled with images and videos of Ajith celebrating the moment with his family and teammates, all smiles. Ajith’s wife Shalini and their children, Anoushka and Aadvik, are also present at the venue.

A few days ago, a video showing Ajith involved in a car crash had gone viral on social media. In the clip, a speeding car was seen crashing into the side safety guard of a race track and doing a few spins before coming to a halt. However, the actor walked away from the incident unscathed. Following the crash, the team issued a statement explaining that Ajith had made the difficult but selfless decision to “step back from driving for Ajith Kumar Racing in the upcoming Dubai 24H Series.”

The team, however, added, “In a unique and bold move, he will take on a dual role serving as the owner of Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten in the Porsche 992 Cup Car (Number 901), while competing as a driver for Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon in Porsche Cayman GT4 (Number 414) in the event.”
