Actor Ajith Kumar, who is currently training for the upcoming Dubai 24H race, caused a stir among fans on Tuesday after visuals of an on-track accident involving the Tamil superstar began circulating online.
In the now-viral clip, we can see a speeding car hit the side safety guard of a race track, and do a few spins before coming to a halt. Ajith, thankfully, escaped unscathed from the accident, and walks away from the car. While this seems to be just another day in the office of a motor racing driver, it has come as a rude shock to many, who have started sharing their prayers for a speedy recovery.

Ajith Kumar is not new to the sport of motor racing. Having been an avid racer ever since his teens, Ajith even took a break from acting in the 2000s to concentrate on his racing career. Now, after more than a decade, he has returned to the circuit in his newly formed team called Ajith Kumar Racing.
Here’s the video:
The Dubai 24H race is a test of endurance and team racing. Ajith and his team of drivers — Fabian Duffieux and Mathueu Detry (Belgium), and Cameron McLeod (Australia) — would be participating in the 992 class. The race is scheduled to happen on January 11.
