After captivating audiences with their remarkable on-screen chemistry in Mari Selvaraj’s political drama Maamannan, where they played protagonist and antagonist, ace Tamil actor Vadivelu and Malayalam thespian Fahadh Faasil are set to join forces once again.

Helmed by Sudeesh Sankar, production company Super Good Films unveiled an announcement poster on New Year’s Day. This film marks Super Good Films’ 98th production and will be bankrolled by RB Choudary for the company.

The poster showcases a yellow card with a chip on top and a highway passing through its middle, suggesting a possible emphasis on technology in what could be a road movie.

While the official title of the movie is yet to be disclosed, the announcement poster has revealed the names of several individuals associated with the project. Yuvan Shankar Raja will serve as the composer, while Kalaiselvan Sivaji is on board as the cinematographer and Sreejith Sarang will handle the film’s editing.

This marks Fahadh’s sixth Tamil film, with his previous works achieving critical and/or commercial success. His debut in Tamil cinema was with Mohan Raja’s Velaikkaran (2017), and he played significant roles in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Super Deluxe (2019) and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram (2022). Currently, he is engaged in TJ Gnanavel’s action film Vettaiyan, where he shares the screen with Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier, among others.

Maamannan revitalised Vadivelu’s career, revealing previously untapped aspects of his talent. Vadivelu also took on a significant role in P Vasu’s horror comedy Chandramukhi 2 following his collaboration with Maamannan.
