Rajkumar Hirani picturised the romantic song Chaar kadam on Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput in Bruges. A splendid medieval art city in Flanders in Belgium, Bruges is also referred to as the Venice of the North and is a world heritage site of UNESCO. Interestingly, PK is the first film to be shot in the city. Hirani was floored by Bruges’ alleys, picturesque architecture, landscapes, strong historical background and the refreshing environs, during a recce.
Chaar kadam captures some of the landmark places like the Market Square, Howest Campus (the University college), Sint-Jorisstraat, the Beguinage (an architectural complex that houses a semi-monastic community of religious women called Beguines), and several streets and canals.
The song, picturised on Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput is composed by Shantanu Moitra. Also starring Aamir Khan, the film is produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures. PK releases on December 19, 2014.
