After being bestowed with the French Knight of the Legion honour, Shah Rukh Khan’s thank you speech was peppered with witty one liners. Like he joked that it was only his wax statue at the Grevin wax Museum in Paris that still had his six packs abs! But at one point, the superstar got emotional as he revealed that the day (July 1) he was being honoured with the award also happened to be his late mother’s birthday. “She would have been extremely, extremely old today if she were alive, but she would have been extremely, extremely happy about me getting this highest honour,” dimpled Khan.
