Abhay Deol to play a negative character in his next, titled ‘Snafu’

The movie will be helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Sethu Sriram

It is confirmed that Abhay Deol has signed a film titled ‘Snafu’ that will be directed by cinematographer Sethu Sriram, who has been associated with films like ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘OMG: Oh My God!’ amongst others.

Though the film is a thriller, it has more to do with mind games. Deol will be seen playing a suave corporate consultant who mediates mega deals with people with big money. Interestingly, his character will have grey shades.

“Abhay was always on my mind, because only he could pull this off. He is very selective about the films he does, so there were a lot of readings and now he is quite charged about the film,” says Sriram, who has co-written the screenplay of the film with a friend, who has written the story.
