Famous Telugu TV actor, 29-year-old Pradeep Kumar committed suicide early on Wednesday in Hyderabad, according to reports. The actor, who quite recently got married to television actress Pavani Reddy, hanged himself at his residence in Puppalaguda, Hyderabad, at around four in the morning. His wife was reportedly not at the residence during this time, and she along with one of their friends found him at their home . This comes as a shocking news, as the couple were successful and even popular for their work in Television dramas.

Pradeep has appeared in TV soaps and plays such as Saptha Matrika and Aruguru Pativratalu, while his wife Pavani is seen in the show Agnipooulu. The police have started their investigations into the suicide and a case has been registered under 174 of CrPC. They brought him down and took him to a hospital where doctors pronounced him as dead, Narsingi Police Station Inspector P Ramchander Rao said. “Though the exact reasons behind Pradeep’s extreme step are still not known, the couple had a minor quarrel last night,” added the inspector to PTI. He also was quoted as saying that there were visible wounds on the body. The cause of death will only be confirmed post-mortem

As speculations are rife that the actor had some dispute with his family, there are also rumours that the recently married actor was faced with heavy debts and was under pressure to repay them. Indianexpress.com cannot independently verify this report. After his family came to know of his death, they rushed to his residence. More news is awaited in the case.
