After scoring big at the box office with his romantic drama Hridayam, actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan has announced his sixth directorial titled Varshangalkku Shesham, which translates to After Many Years. The film also reunites Vineeth with Hridayam stars Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Vineeth took Instagram to announce the film. He wrote, “Varshangalkku Shesham My 6th film as a director. Keep us in prayers. “വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം”. പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ഒരുപാടുപേരോടൊപ്പം ഒന്നിച്ചൊരു സിനിമ. സംവിധായകനെന്ന നിലയിൽ എന്റെ ആറാമത്തെ സിനിമ (A film with people close to my heart. My 6th film as a director).”
Promoting his son Pranav’s upcoming film, Mohanlal wrote, “#MerrylandCinemas Proudly Presents വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം #VarshangalkkuShesham Written & Directed by : #VineethSreenivasan Produced by : @visakhsub *ing – My Son @impranavlal & #DhyanSreenivasan @AjuVarghesee @kalyanipriyan #VineethSreenivasan @NivinOfficial @basiljoseph25.”
Kalyani Priyadarshan also shared her excitement about Varshangalkku Shesham on Twitter. She wrote, “Reuniting with my favorite humans (and a few more special people) for yet another special film . Hope we have everyone’s well wishes .”
Apart from Pranav and Kalyani, the film also stars Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikil Nair and Shaan Rahman in pivotal roles. It is produced by Visakh Subramaniam, who has previously collaborated with Vineeth Sreenivasan for Hridayam.
