Actor Sydney Sweeney has often complained about people being too obsessed with her looks and not focusing on acting skills. But she also doesn’t shy away from capitalising on her appearance. She recently posted about a collaboration with personal care product company Dr Squatch, but this isn’t just another brand endorsement. The company has announced a limited edition soap that has been infused with the actual bathwater used by the actor, or so they claim.

This bizarre product was revealed via an Instagram post with quite an interesting caption: “Introducing: Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss Sydney Sweeney. In collaboration with Sydney Sweeney, we created a limited-edition soap infused with her ACTUAL bathwater. Why? Because you all wouldn’t stop asking. And Sydney said, ‘Let’s do it’ (what a legend).” Sydney only posted a picture of the brand new soap with the caption, “You kept asking about my bathwater after the Dr Squatch ad… so we kept it.”

Fans took to the comment section of the post, and while some expressed excitement with GIFs and remarks in capital letters, many were unsure about this collaboration. A user commented, “Thanks, I’ll take 100,” while another remarked, “We got Syndey Sweeney Dr Squatch bathwater soap before GTA 6.” Many expressed their confusion over the collab. One person commented, “Alright, this is getting ridiculous,” and another wrote, “Sydney honey I love you, but I don’t know about this.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the weirdest thing a celebrity has decided to sell, as many may remember Gwyneth Paltrow’s infamous Goop candle. The Iron Man actor came up with candles which smelt like her vagina. Sweeney’s Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi has previously sold candles infused with his bathwater, which was a reference to a scene in the film Saltburn. On the professional front, Euphoria’s next season is all set to premiere in 2026, and Sweeney will also be seen in the film Americana, alongside Halsey, Paul Walter Hauser, Simon Rex, Zahn McClarnon and Eric Dane. The film will release on August 22.
