Vijay Sethupathi to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha.

It is confirmed. Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is primarily known for his work in Tamil cinema, will be making his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie is a remake of Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump.

Sethupathi confirmed the same in a recent interview with Film Companion. During the interview, he also discussed what are his biggest apprehensions about working in the Hindi film industry.

“Language is the first, I don’t know much about this culture as I don’t watch many Hindi films. Language is not a big barrier, but the culture is,” the actor said.

Apart from Aamir Khan and Vijay Sethupathi, Laal Singh Chaddha also features Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. Aamir and Kareena have previously worked together in Talaash and 3 Idiots.

Helmed by Advait Chauhan, Laal Singh Chadha will release on Christmas next year.
