Comedian Samay Raina has once again become a subject of controversy. This time, social media influencer Uorfi Javed has accused contestants from his show India’s Got Latent of making derogatory remarks against her. Uorfi appeared on the show as a judge and walked out midway after being made uncomfortable by the contestants.

She shared her ordeal on Instagram stories, where she accused the contestants of “abusing” her just for the sake of fame. “I think I missed the memo, nowadays people think it’s cool to abuse someone or just slut shame someone for some views. I’m sorry but I’m not ok with anyone abusing me, slut shaming me for my body counts (which they don’t know but they just assumed it must be high). All this for what? For 2 mins of fame? The guy who abused me wasn’t even joking, he got legit mad at me when I asked him why he was faking being handicapped! He just abused me on the stage infront of so many people,” she wrote.

However, Uorfi Javed also exempted Samay Raina from any blame and called him a friend. She wrote, “Also, in no way I blame Samay Raina. He is a friend. I am talking about the contestants. The entire team came and consoled me. Samay has been nothing but nice to me since then (sic).”

Earlier, social media influencer and actor Kusha Kapila had blasted Samay Raina for his ‘shockingly unkind’ roast targeting her and Aashish Solanki for a show called Pretty Good Roast Show. “While I endured some of the really raspy jokes in front of a live audience and technicians, I absolutely was not okay for it to play for millions of people since some jokes straight up dehumanised me. It was shockingly unkind,” Kusha wrote on Instagram.
