Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma, who have been dating each other for a few months now, recently appeared in Lust Stories’ Sex with the Ex, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. In a video shared by Netflix India, the two actors quizzed each other on the topics of love and lust, and watching intimate scenes on screen. When Tamannaah asked Vijay about his thoughts on having sex with an ex-partner, his response made her chuckle.

Tamannaah, in the video, asked Vijay, “Sex with an ex? Yay or nay?” and Vijay promptly responded, “Jiski jo zarurat (Whatever one needs).” The actor chuckled a bit, and said, “Yeah. Who are we to judge?” Vijay then elaborated, “If you both are single, loose cannons floating around in the universe, who cares?”

Vijay also spoke about watching Raja Hindustani in the theatre as a child, with his family and relatives, and how they all froze up when the kissing scene started. The film had a scene in which Karisma Kapoor and Aamir Khan’s characters kissed each other, an unusual sight in Hindi movies at the time. “That kiss never ended. It felt like one hour,” he shared, and she couldn’t hold back her laughter.

Vijay recalled the story, “I had to gone to watch Raja Hindustani with 2-3 families. Me, my parents and my uncle and their families, and we are 20 people in a row. And suddenly that kiss starts. This entire row just froze. They were like… And I didn’t know what to do, my hand was almost touching my aunt. I didn’t know what to do.”

In Sujoy’s short film, Tamannaah and Vijay play former spouses who meet in another realm, but even in this universe, his character continues to be as creepy as he was when he was alive.
