Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker surprised everyone when she recently announced her wedding with politician Fahad Ahmad. The actor, who initially registered her marriage, hosted a grand celebration to commemorate their union. Swara and Fahad hosted haldi, mehendi, sangeet, qawaali night and reception as a part of the celebration. Now, a video from Swara’s vidaai (farewell) is doing rounds on the internet.

In the video, Swara is seen holding back her tears as her family bids her goodbye. Towards the end of the video, Swara breaks down and is seen sobbing. A voice is heard saying, “Muskurati rahe tu Swara umar bhar. Pyaar sasusral ka milta rahe. Tere angan mein rukhsaar rahe har khushi. Bus mohabbat-mohabbat mile.”

The actor’s father, Uday Bhasker, who was not seen in the video revealed via a tweet that it was an emotionally charged moment for him. He wrote, “Yes…the ‘gruff’ Commodore had good reason to stay out of frame… this is indeed an emotionally charged moment even for a ‘khadus’ dad… the ‘bidai’ of our dear @ReallySwara.”

On Monday evening, Swara Bhasker’s husband Fahad Ahmad thanked everyone for their wishes and love. He tweeted, “Thank you so much everyone for your kind wishes & love in the last one month. We both feel blessed & grateful for all the warmth we have received. ❤️❤️P.S-Happy but so done with wedding celebrations 🤓@ReallySwara.”

Swara announced her marriage to Fahad via social media. The couple posted a unique video montage. Along with the video, the actor wrote, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad. It’s chaotic but it’s yours.”
