Seema Sajdeh opened up about her new partner in the latest season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The fashion designer is currently dating Vikram Ahuja, the man she was engaged to before eloping with Sohail Khan in 1998. In a recent interview, Seema shared the struggles of finding love again as a woman with two children. “It’s not just about you anymore,” shared Seema.
In a recent interview with India Today, Seema Sajdeh talked about her new relationship and said, “It’s not been easy to navigate, especially from the point of view that we are not young anymore. I am not young. I have history, I have two children, and my partner has two kids. There are a lot more people involved. It’s different when you break up and move on when you are younger. When you are older, you have to take everyone’s feelings and sentiments into account.”
“So, I think, from that point of view, it’s… I wouldn’t say hard, but there are a lot of things you need to be careful about. It’s not just about you anymore. Not about you and him. But, I think it’s organic. It happens when you least expect it. When they say, ‘Oh, you are single, you need to meet someone’, I be like, ‘Listen, dude, you can try all you want, but, it hits you at the time you least expect it,” added Seema.
Seema also shared the importance of having a partner in life. She said, “It’s tough to be a single woman, and situationships are a recipe for a disastrous mental health. I am from a little bit older school of thought when that is concerned because I am not that person. I am not one for casual relationships. If I invest in someone, whatever I do in my life, I give it my all.”
Seema Sajdeh was previously married to Salman Khan’s younger brother Sohail Khan. The couple separated in 2022 after 24 years of marriage. They have two sons, Nirvan and Yohan Khan. Meanwhile, her current partner, Vikram Ahuja is said to be a businessman with a net worth of Rs 300 crore, according to Financial Express.
In the final episode of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Seema revealed for the first time that she was dating Vikram. She said, “He knows me like no one else. If anybody knows us in town, they all know the story of Seema and Vikram. Vikram is the one that I was engaged to before I met Sohail, and here we are. Life comes full circle.” Speaking to the camera, she added, “It feels amazing. I really didn’t see this coming. And I can’t wait to tell these bunch of girls that I absolutely love. I mean, oh my God! Are they going to fall of their chairs? And yet again, I am entertainment, entertainment, entertainment.”
In another episode, Seema recalled the time when she eloped with Sohail Khan. Talking to Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari and Gauri Khan, Seema said, “You need a whole season to understand that story! I was engaged to someone I was seeing since I was 13. We were kids. We used to keep fighting, breaking up, fighting, breaking up again. In the meantime, I met Sohail and then in excitement I…”
Bhavana interrupted her and added, “I remember, I was there at her roka. She was very happy and I have got some beautiful pictures from that. After 10 days, Chunky and I are fast asleep, and my mother-in-law walks in and she’s banging on the door. She was like, ‘Somebody give me alcohol’. We were like, ‘What happened to her?’ She said, ‘Seema has run away and gotten married.’ She screamed from outside the door.”
