Sanjay Dutt has finally opened up about his exclusion from the Ajay Devgn-starrer Son of Sardaar 2. The actor was removed from the movie as his UK visa was rejected by the British government. Reportedly, ever since Sanjay was arrested for the possession of illegal weapons procured from the other accused in the 1993 Bombay bombings, the actor has been denied entry to the UK multiple times. Now, actor Ravi Kishan has replaced the KGF 2 star in the Vijay Kumar Arora film, also starring Mrunal Thakur and Chunky Pandey.

Speaking about the same, in a recent interview with Bombay Times, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor said, “I know one thing that the UK government didn’t do the right thing.” He revealed the UK government did give him the visa initially and all the payment was done. He said, “Everything was ready. Then a month later you are cancelling my Visa! I gave the UK government all the papers and everything required.”

Sanjay Dutt expressed anger and questioned why did the UK government give him the visa in the first place when they had plans of cancelling it later. “How come it took you one month to realise the laws?”

Further criticising the United Kingdom, Sanjay said, “Anyway, who wants to go to UK? There are so many riots happening there. Even the Indian government has issued a statement that you should not visit UK. So, I am not missing out on anything.”

Sanjay Dutt demanded the UK government rectify the situation. He said, “I am a law-abiding citizen. I go according to the law, and I respect every country’s law.”

There is a possibility that the 65-year-old actor might be seen in a special appearance in the film. His part will be shot in India after the team’s return from the UK.

Sanjay Dutt is also part of Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar. According to Business Standard, the film too will be extensively shot in UK, but producer Sajid Nadiadwala has reportedly chosen a wiser route and decided to shoot all of Sanjay’s scenes in Mumbai instead of London.

Ajay Devgn has officially begun the shooting for the comedy drama Son of Sardaar 2. On Tuesday, the actor shared a post on his Instagram handle to share the news. The film is a sequel to the 2012 comedy hit Son of Sardaar, starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles. The 2012 movie was directed by Ashwni Dhir. It was a remake of the 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, directed by SS Rajamouli. The movie made on a budget of Rs 30 crore, went on to earn Rs 161 crore worldwide.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will be soon seen in the film Double iSmart. The Telugu film is scheduled to release worldwide on Independence Day, alongside Bollywood films Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein.
