Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on Thursday and to mark the special day, Saif’s sister Saba took to social media and shared some throwback pictures of the couple. The photo dump included pictures from the early days of their relationship. Saba described Saif as the one who drives Kareena crazy, and called her patient partner.
Her caption read, “Anniversary special 💖 To Bhai n Bhabijaan, From the pics I captured THEN, while you both were dating … To the ones taken NOW, Time seems to have stood still. You both still have that special chemistry n vibe, While one drives you crazy ;) ie bhai. The other is patient n ….verrrry patient , at timez!!! ie. Bebo (Lol.). Together…you’re awesome. Kareena and Saif got married in 2012 after dating each other for a few years. While the two already knew each other, as Saif had worked with Kareena’s older Karisma in Hum Saath Saath Hain, they started dating in 2007 during the filming of Tashan. Saif had been married before, to Amrita Singh, and was a father to two children, Sara and Ibrahim. With Kareena, he has two sons – Taimur and Jehangir.
In an earlier chat with GQ India, Ibrahim opened up about his parents’ divorce and said, “I was four or five years old, so I don’t remember much. It was probably different for Sara as she was older. But my mom and dad have done a great job of ensuring I didn’t feel the pain that comes with a broken home. I never saw them lose their cool at each other. Some things are just not meant to be.”
He added, “Now my dad is much happier with Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) and I’ve got two very handsome and naughty brothers. And my mom is the best mother ever. She takes great care of me, and I live with her. It’s all good.”
