Revealed: First poster of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Instead, we see the back of Ranveer Singh seated on a horse amidst flags flying in the wind, staring at what appears to be a fort. The poster also carries the release date of the film – December 18, 2015. The film’s first teaser will be released on Thursday (July 16).

Ranveer Singh, who plays Bajirao, shared the announcement on Twitter and the poster.

While Ranveer plays the male lead – the role of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao 1, his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone will be seen as his second wife, Mastani. Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai, while the role of his mother is played by Tanvi Azmi.
