Ranveer Singh shields Deepika Padukone as the couple is mobbed in Jamnagar after announcing pregnancy, fans say ‘unacceptable’. Watch

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh reached Jamnagar to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their pregnancy on Thursday morning via social media and later in the evening, the parents-to-be reached Jamnagar for the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. As Deepika and Ranveer were making their way towards their car, they were surrounded by photographers and fans making it difficult for the couple to get out of the crowd safely. Ranveer, along with other security members of their team and the cops, tried to shield Deepika as they tried to get out of there.

After the video of the same was shared on social media, fans found this behaviour “unacceptable.” One of the fans wrote, “This is not at all acceptable behaviour! I mean she is pregnant! Have some sympathy.” Another fan wrote, “She is pregnant and he is protecting her from the crowd.” Some fans were impressed by the way Ranveer was trying to protect Deepika in the crowd and one of them wrote, “The way he is protecting her!❤️” Another fan wrote, “Wow so protective 😍”

Another video from Jamnagar airport saw fans rushing towards Ranveer as they tried to congratulate him. Ranveer hugged a few fans and was quite courteous with them.

Rani Mukerji, Boney Kapoor, Atlee Kumar and Orry also arrived for the pre-wedding festivities on Thursday.

The three day festivities are being attended by Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, Mark Zuckerberg, amongst many other international personalities.
