Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s mehendi ceremony was held on Wednesday, with the entire Kapoor clan in attendance. Several videos and photos from the event have surfaced on social media, capturing the joyous moments. One of the clips features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor hitting the dance floor.
The video shows Aadar’s mother and Ranbir and Kareena’s aunt, Reema Kapoor, encouraging the cousins to dance. Kareena was the first to step onto the dance floor, soon joined by her sister Karisma Kapoor. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor followed, and later, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and his mother Neetu Kapoor joined in. The family grooved to Sukhbir’s hit track “Oh Ho Ho Ho,” adding to the celebratory vibe.
In another video from the ceremony, Kareena is seen performing on her popular song “Tareefan” from Veere Di Wedding. She looked stunning in a blue-green embroidered outfit by Sabyasachi.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Kareena hinted at moving past recent turmoil, referencing the brutal attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan. She wrote, “After the darkness, comes the light. Putting the negativity behind and embracing the joy… celebrating love and family with my favourite people. Love conquers all.”
Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani had previously tied the knot in Goa in a Christian ceremony in January. They are now set to marry again following Hindu rituals. Aadar was previously in a long-term relationship with Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria. However, the two parted ways after dating for years, and in September last year, he announced his engagement to Alekha.
