Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has always stayed mum whenever it comes to his personal life. He didn’t react publicly when his wife Aaliya Siddiqui accused him of not taking care of her and their children. Still, his personal life grabbed all the limelight in the past few months. Though the actor was ‘hurt’ by things which were being said about him on social media, he chose not to react. Now, he is trying to become ‘thick-skinned’ about rumours that are spread about him on social media.

In a recent interview, Nawaz shared that he always thought he will just focus on his work and be satisfied. But, all the chatter on social media about his relationship with his estranged wife Aaliya affected him. “I had always expected that I will be doing my work with love and peace because that is how I like it. But at times what happens is that you get to know through social media that you are at a certain place even though you haven’t been there in real; it hurts a bit but it’s okay, it’s part of life now. I will have to be thick-skinned now which I am becoming gradually,” the actor told Bollywood Hungama.

A couple of months back, Aaliya claimed she has no issues with the actor now as he has ‘solved some things’ and she and her children are happily settled in Dubai. She told ETimes, “My kids are good, they’re happy. We are in Dubai right now because the court agreed with Nawazuddin that their studies shouldn’t suffer. The court ordered Nawaz to clear all our issues. It put a condition on him that he has to take care of everything in Dubai and the children shouldn’t face any problem.”

Nawazuddin said he too is happy that his children are getting good education. “I am happy that they are getting their education there, they go to the kind of schools I had only dreamed of. Maybe life would have been different if I had an education of that sort. I understand that pain and hence I am very happy to be able to give the best of best education to my children, every parent wants to do that for their children.” the Sacred Games star said.

Differences between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya started a few years ago. Aaliya claimed that the actor “disowned” their children, Shora and Yaani and that his mother didn’t allow her to enter their house in Mumbai. However, the couple has now filed for divorce.
