Actress Juhi Chawla,who will be working with her contemporary Madhuri Dixit in Gulaab Gang,is shooting for the movie at Borivali National Park in Mumbai.
The actress was nostalgic as she had last shot at same location with Aamir khan and the bacha gang of Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke way back in 1992.

Featuring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in the lead,Gulaab Gang is based on Sampat Pal-led ‘Gulabi Gang’. Operating in the Bundelkhand,Uttar Pradesh,a group of women vigilantes and activists dressed in pink saris,fought against the social injustice and for the rights of women in the region.
Juhi Chawla will be essaying a negative role in Gulaab Gang while Madhuri on the other hand,plays the gang leader.
Juhi is excited about the negative role,her first ever and finds it challenging to play such a character.
Juhi Chawla will share screen with Madhuri Dixit for the first time in their common career span of 27 years. They were considered as competitors back in the late 1980s and 1990s.
Directed by debutant Soumik Sen,Gulaab Gang has been produced by Anubhav Sinha. The movie also features Mahie Gill in a significant role.
