Just how many Shah Rukh Khan looks are there in Jawan? The prevue of filmmaker Atlee’s latest spectacle starring Shah Rukh dropped on Monday and became an instant talking point for its presentation of the Bollywood superstar.

Shah Rukh, who returns to screens months after the historic success of Pathaan, will be seen in a double role of a father and son in Jawan, which marks the first collaboration between him and Atlee, known for Tamil hits with Vijay like Theri, Mersal and Bigil.

While the actor’s double role was reported for months, what was kept tightly under wraps were his looks from the mass actioner, which has surprised his fans. The 2 min 12 second prevue features Shah Rukh in white hair with a mask covering one half of his face, clean shaven younger look, a glimpse of his cop avatar, a soldier look, long white hair without mask, the look where he is completely masked in bandages and the big reveal– bald look with white beard.

The film also features an ensemble led by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover among others. It also features Deepika Padukone, who is also seen in the prevue.

Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan has been written and directed by Atlee, with Hindi dialogues penned by Sumit Purohit. The movie is scheduled to release on September 7.
