Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, best known for his role in the popular Netflix series Jamtara 2, has reportedly died by suicide. He was 25. According to reports, the actor was found dead at his residence in Parola, Jalgaon, on October 23. Family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but despite all efforts, Sachin succumbed during treatment in the early hours of October 24, around 1:30 am.
Apart from his work in films and web series, Sachin was also employed as a software engineer at an IT park in Pune. He had been balancing his professional commitments in both the tech and entertainment industries, and was reportedly working on multiple acting projects at the time of his death.
The Parola Police have registered an accidental death case, and an investigation is currently underway. The reason behind the actor’s alleged suicide remains unknown, and his family is yet to release an official statement.
Sachin’s last Instagram post was five days ago. He shared a poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan, directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat, in which he played one of the lead roles alongside Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare. The film, described as a gripping thriller, was scheduled for release later this year and was expected to mark an important milestone in his acting career.
The young actor rose to fame after appearing in the second season of Netflix’s crime drama Jamtara, a series that delved into the world of phishing scams in small-town India. While he played a supporting role, Sachin’s natural screen presence and authentic portrayal earned him praise from audiences and critics.
