Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, kicked off the celebrations with her close family at midnight. Kareena’s sister-actor Karisma Kapoor, took to her Instagram stories and gave a sneak peek into the midnight birthday bash. Karisma also gave a glimpse of the ‘perfect setting’ and dropped adorable pictures with Bebo.
Karisma first dropped a picture of the birthday cake with a cake topper which read, “Our Jaane Jaan Happy Birthday.” In the next picture, Karisma gave a glimpse of the birthday girl and wrote, “Happy birthday to my lifeline.” Kareena was decked up in a traditional yellow outfit and was seen cutting the cake. The ‘Kapoor’ sisters then struck a pose together and Karisma wrote, “birthday girl.’ Karisma also shared the same picture from a different angle.
Bollywood celebrities like Rhea Kapoor also took to their social media handles and wished the Jaane Jaan actor. Rhea dropped a gorgeous picture of Kareena and wrote, “Happy birthday veere.” She also shared a throwback picture from the Veere Di Wedding shoot and said, “This was the first Veere Di Wedding. We just made another film and more memories like these. May we make many, many more movies. Love you legend.” Rhea’s husband-filmmaker Karan Boolani also penned a sweet wish for Kareena.
Jaane Jaan, also starring Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, was released on Netflix today. The film also marks Kareena’s digital debut. Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film is an Indian adaptation of the Japanese novel titled Devotion of Suspect X.
