The award for Best Actor in the last 20 years goes to Ranbir Kapoor for his work in Barfi. The award presented by Rekha is accepted by Barfi director Anurag Basu on Ranbir's behalf.
The Best debutant (female) award goes to Sara Ali Khan for Kedarnath.
The Best debutant (male) award goes to Ishaan Khatter for Dhadak and Beyond the Clouds. He received the award from brother Shahid Kapoor. Ayushmann, Aparshakti, Shahid and Ishaan also dance to Zingaat.
Madhuri Dixit pays tribute to veteran choreographer Saroj Khan by performing on tracks like "Ek Do Teen", "Chane Ke Khet Mein", "Mera Pita Ghar Aaya" and "Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai". After Madhuri's act, Ayushmann and Aparshakti invited Saroj ji on stage and the Kalank actor surprised her with an award for her contribution to Hindi cinema.

When Pritam received the Best Music Direction award for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, he called Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi on the stage. While Arijit captivated the audience with a rendition of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title track, Jonita sang "Break Up Song".
The Best Film in the last 20 years has gone to Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.
The next award is for Best Direction in the last 20 years. It has gone to Rajkumar Hirani. The award was presented by Salman Khan.
On the completion of 20 years, IIFA introduces five special awards. The first award is for music direction, which went to Pritam for his outstanding performance in the last 20 years.
Sara Ali Khan's performance included not only her songs but also hit tracks of her parents like "Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re" and "Ole Ole Ole".
Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaaved Jaaferi perform a hilarious skit. While Ayushmann spoofed Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy character Murad, Javed played a host of popular characters like Munna Bhai, Bauji from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Khilji from Padmaavat.
The Best Story award goes to Sriram Raghavan, Pooja Ladha Surti, Arijit Biswas, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth Rao for Andhadhun.
The Best Music award goes to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. This is such a shame that in a category where Amit Trivedi has been nominated twice, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety wins. Amaal Malik, Rochak Kohli and Yo Yo Honey Singh received the award.
The Best Lyrics award goes to Amitabh Bhattacharya for "Dhadak".
Vicky Kaushal is on stage to perform. Vicky danced on a couple of Punjabi hits like "Kava Kava", "Gur Naal Ishq Mitha" and "Dhyanchand".
Veteran actor Jagdeep honoured with the Outstanding Achievement in Cinema award. The actor is accompanied by sons Jaaved Jaaferi and Naved Jafri and grandson Meezan. The award is presented to him by Ranveer Singh and Ramesh Sippy, who directed him in Sholay.
