Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection day 5: Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy set to enter Rs 200 cr club worldwide today

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection day 5: Kartik Aaryan-Vidya Balan film has earned Rs 237 crore in India. Despite a dip in box office collection as the week started, the film is holding steady.

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues to hold its own at the box office, despite witnessing a slight dip in collections on its fifth day. The Anees Bazmee directorial, in its five day run in theatres has earned over Rs 130 crore.

According to industry tracking website Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on Tuesday earned around Rs 13 crore, which is about Rs 6 crore less than what it earned on its first Monday (Rs 19 crore). The nett total of the film stands at Rs 137 crore. The film’s gross collection stands at Rs 148.75 crore domestically even after observing a -27.78% dip.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 worldwide box office collection

The film has earned Rs 187.75 crore globally as of its first Tuesday, with its overseas box office collection being Rs 39 crore.

The film, also starring Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, observed a 31.48% overall Hindi occupancy. In Mumbai, where there were 833 shows, the occupancy stood at 39.50%. In Delhi and NCR the occupancy was 22% for 1007 shows.

Industry experts and trade analysts are closely monitoring the performance of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and its Diwali rival, Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. Both films, released on November 1, continue to fare well in cinemas.

Singham Again box office collection

Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again garnered Rs 13.50 crore on Tuesday, pushing its five-day total to Rs 153.25 crore. The film’s superior screen count allocation has given it a significant edge over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, providing a substantial opening advantage.

To address the inequality, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 team had demanded equal distribution of screens by filing a petition with the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

The horror-comedy is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 150 crore and has already recovered over 75 per cent of its cost. To celebrate the success of the film, Kartik Aaryan, along with the film’s producer, T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar attended Ganga Aarti in Varanasi on Tuesday evening.
