On the occasion of Bobby Deol’s birthday today, the makers of Suriya’s next, Kanguva, have revealed Bobby’s first look as the ruthless villain Udhiran. The upcoming film also stars Disha Patani and is helmed by Siva. In the new poster, Bobby is shown in a powerful and menacing avatar, sporting a mane of hair, surrounded by female followers. Sharing the poster, Bobby wrote, “Ruthless. Powerful. Unforgettable.”

A few days ago, Suriya had given an update about the upcoming film. Sharing a still, he wrote, “My last shot done for Kanguva! An entire unit filled with positivity! It’s a finishing of one and beginning of many..! Thank you dearest @siva_director and team for all the memories! #Kanguva is huge n special can’t wait for you all to see it on screen! #family #missing.”

Bobby’s family members, including Sunny Deol and Esha Deol, penned heartfelt birthday wishes for him on social media. Sunny took to his Instagram handle and shared multiple pictures with Bobby and Dharmendra, and wrote, “Happy Birthday My Lil #LordBobby.” Esha shared a stylish picture of Bobby and wrote, “Happy birthday bhaiya. So proud of you.” Sunny’s son Karan Deol penned, “Happy Birthday my dearest @iambobbydeol chacha.Love you to the moon!”

Actor Riteish Deshmukh shared a photo collage and captioned it, “Dear Darling, have a stupendous birthday my friend. May god shower love, success and great health on you and your entire family.”

Kanguva will be released in 2024 in six languages–Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, English, and Hindi. Bobby was last seen in the blockbuster film Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial featured Bobby as the antagonist, and recently landed on Netflix.
