Bobby Deol gets teary-eyed after Animal screening in Mumbai; expresses gratitude: ‘Feels like I am dreaming’

Bobby Deol got emotional as he expressed gratitude for all the love he is receiving for his recent film Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has already entered Rs 100 crore club.

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol’s portrayal as a ruthless antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal is generating buzz on the internet, receiving praise from both critics and audiences. The actor’s depth in portraying the character has created a bad boy persona that is being loved by everyone. The immense love of the audience for his character and the film recently left Deol in tears. A video of him crying after the film’s screening in Mumbai went viral on social media. 

Deol, who came out of the venue, was seen crying and people around him were consoling the actor. The actor then did his famous pose from the film and smiled at the paparazzi stationed outside. He said, “Thank you guys. Thank you so much. God has been really kind. I am getting so much love for this film. I feel like I am dreaming”.

The actor was then seen hugging and shedding more tears as he sat in his car. A teary-eyed Bobby Deol finally waved goodbye and left the venue. 

Fans on the internet expressed support for Bobby and penned heartfelt messages for the actor in the comments section. One of the fans wrote, “Success tears. He deserves it. His entry gave shivers in the spine.” Another said, “Can’t neglect the fact that he’s really a good actor.” A comment also read, “He’s such a nice actor. Great human being.” A fan added, “He s amazing person n animal movie hit coz of bobby Deol 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏.” 

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial had a thunderous opening at the box-office. The film minted Rs 63 crores on the first day and Rs 66 crores on the second day. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.

On Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan, Deol talked about the low phase of his career and how and why he staged a comeback. Bobby had said, “I gave up, I started pitying myself. I just took on drinking a lot, I was sitting at home. I used to keep cursing and saying, why don’t people take me? I am good, why don’t they want to work with me? Suddenly I heard my son saying, you know mom, papa sits at home and you go to work everyday. Something snapped in me. I just said, no I can’t.”
